Why are All Inclusive Caribbean Vacation Packages so Popular?

The islands of the Caribbean are renowned for many things including the number of all inclusive vacation packages you can find there. The popularity of all inclusive Caribbean vacations has meant they actually outnumber the accommodation only vacations sold each year. One theory suggests it is part of a plan to attract more visitors to the Caribbean; but there is no evidence however, that their popularity has grown specifically because of this move.

It could just be because all inclusive Caribbean vacations can be less expensive overall and easier to manage; this is particularly true against standard room only or fly drive vacations. Every type of vacation and travel package is available so just about anyone's travel needs can be tailor made to suit them. Some visitors only require flights to the Caribbean as they are visiting relations; they usually only need to pay for flights, but not accommodation or activities.

It is one of those destinations where an all inclusive Caribbean vacation option is the most affordable. Many tour operators offering this facility will have options of cheaper transportation and accommodation than would otherwise be accessible to the independent traveler. Those travelers who have spent their lives devoted to arranging everything themselves would not agree to a vacation organized this way. Many people are still unsure of what to expect from an all inclusive vacation even though they have now been around for a long time.

Obviously with any vacation package, the room is included in the cost unless you have just specifically booked a flight only. All meals and any additional snacks for example will be included in the cost but that is not necessarily the case with other types of package available; a great deal depends on what sort of vacation is being offered. Even now, some visitors are not sure of the difference between an all inclusive vacation and a full board package.

A full board package will include breakfast lunch and supper, but not drinks, while an all inclusive Caribbean vacation package will include meals and drinks. Another distinction is in the vouchers for meals, entertainment and often trips which are presented by many hotels; this does not normally mean that entertainment, food and events are free at these places, just discounted. For a person or family booked on an all inclusive Caribbean vacation, there is little to pay; they often include dining at restaurants that are not part of the hotel which should create a far more interesting experience.
