Use Article Marketing to Create an Avalanche of Online Traffic

New methods of getting traffic to your site are being devised constantly but article marketing is still the best way to drive visitors without having to pay anything out. Articles can be used for almost anything on the Internet from social networking sites to blogs and each one can contain a one or more links to your main website. The best place to submit articles is site where you know they have a great deal of traffic every day; an increase in visitors to your site should happen quite quickly. Top sites are also viewed by search engines as authority sites so it is to your benefit in many ways to have your content accepted; you will become a 'trusted' person which means a great deal in the virtual world.

This process of article marketing by submission to various sites, if carried out routinely, will ensure people read more of your work and actively look for it as your reputation grows. If you do not get this trust from people about the quality of your work, they will not visit your site(s). Over time the number of links you receive from other high ranking or authority sites will increase your own ranking with Google; you should find that in time that more visitors that have found you in the search engines improves. The simple fact is that the more websites that provide an internal link to your own, the better your ranking will become; all at no charge, so free advertising is possible.

With article marketing, a number of links to other sites can be inserted into it and providing there aren't too many you will not be penalized. When your articles are good, they get spread around the internet and of course each version will have links back to your own so the more links you have, the more your ranking will grow. Sometimes, however, search engines can take some time before they actually list your site; Google can actually take months on occasion. Although you cannot rush the search engines directly, submitting more articles and using the authority sites will help enormously.

The content on your website is what brings the search engines and hence visitors so therefore part of your article marketing campaign should be to continually add fresh content to your website. Bear in mind that when people visit your site, they are unlikely to want your product without learning more about it. The majority of visitors are just searching for more information about something. This is the ideal time to highlight the benefits of the product or service to the visitor. This a little like taking them by the hand so they know what they are buying and most importantly, why. By doing this you are securing any order you make and will receive less refund requests.

If you want visitors to your websites then you must continue your article marketing this way; regularly submitting articles is necessary and should not be viewed as something you only have to do once. Remember, if you have an interesting site you will also receive links from other website owners who may also use your article as well; having your articles on numerous sites just improves the exposure of your site. Article marketing is still by far the easiest way to drive traffic to your website and it doesn't cost a cent; all you have to do is ensure your content is 'on topic' and unique to have constant visitors.
