Top Work at Home Programs in 1st Quarter 2008

The work at home arena is becoming increasingly more popular as each year passes. The explosive growth of the Internet has allowed opportunities to people that never existed before.

People are jumping on the work from home bandwagon in a major way. There are many reasons for this such as everyday stress, inability to earn a sufficient income, desire to improve their lifestyle or simple to earn some extra cash. It's easy to understand, because if you can make extra money or replace your current income while working from the comfort of your home then most of us would jump at the opportunity.

There are many programs to choose from such as Rebate Processing, Type at Home, E-Mail Rebate Processing, Data Entry, Paid Surveys, Telephone Answering jobs and many more.

You do need to be careful, because like anything where money is involved you get the scam artists looking to relieve you of your funds. It's important that you either use a website like mine, but not necessarily mine, that has done some research for you or be prepared to do the work yourself. It must be done so you have the best chance for success.

Every quarter I like to do some research with an eye toward what programs are most popular. The reason I do this is that I have found the work at home arena can be very dynamic. Another reason is I look for companies that are able to change with their customers needs and last quarter after quarter and year after year. I would suggest you include this as one of your factors when doing your research.

I found the following areas to be the most popular in the first quarter of 2008:

4. Paid Surveys
5. Stay at Home Moms Jobs

This tells me that these types of companies have what people are looking for. The next step is to find the best one in each area. I would then suggest to anyone looking to create income from home that they narrow down the choices to 1 program in each area. Once you have done that I would join 2 - 3 programs that meet your income objectives, comfort level, available time and skill sets.

The reason I say 2 - 3 is that you can typically do this for less than it cost to take yourself and a friend or family member out to dinner and a movie one evening. You can later focus on the programs you enjoy most and it should give you a step up on earning money faster. It is important to realize that you will have to do some work from home. If you simply join a program and then do not put any effort into it you will not make any money. Nothing in life is free.
