4. Get free cards! Many people will just give away their entire collection after they have sold their rare and valuable cards. Find someone getting out of the game and see if they are willing to donate all or part of their collection to you. Why would someone give away all of their cards? To free up storage space! If you frequent your local shops, youll be in great position to find someone who is about to quit, just ask around. Also, some play groups will even donate cards from their collection to help new players. This helps the new player (YOU!) and increases the available pool of players. Remember this when your collection grows.
Once you have an collection, youll start to get ideas for decks but may be missing a few cards. Once you reach this point, your best option it to buy or trade for individual cards. If you have duplicate cards or cards you are not playing, you can trade with other players that you meet.
