The principles of conversational hypnosis were first conceived by the great hypnotist and psychotherapist Milton Erickson. Erickson believed that trance states were not rare occurrences that had to be elaborately induced. He believed people slip into trance states several times a day, for instance, when they are waiting for a bus or concentrating very hard on something they are reading.
Conversation hypnosis is the ability to manipulate the minds of other people simply by talking with them. By using this form of hypnosis, you can plant new ideas, thoughts, and even beliefs into the minds of those you converse with. This can be done so smoothly that the people upon whom you'll be using this techniques will not even be aware that they're being manipulated with.
In fact, they'll believe that the very thoughts you had inserted into their psyche are their own. Do you see why that gives you an immense power over other people? It's one thing to persuade someone to do something; it's quite another to make that person believe that he or she actually came up with the idea.
