Hollywood fell head over heels over the Montecristo and soon artists like Tom Jones and many more wouldn't be caught dead without one in their mouth. The Romeo Y Julieta is the most popular brand in England. The name as you probably guessed it, was inspired by William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. "Pepin" the original founder of the brand actually wanted to purchase the theater where the original play was performed but he ended up getting the balcony.
