First you will need to download a torrent client (torrent client is a program that manages your torrent downloads). I highly recommend uTorrent which can be downloaded at http://www.utorrent.com/download.php. It is only 214 kilobytes; nevertheless it is one of the most powerful clients. Next you'll have to search for a healthy torrent. You'll usually find a torrent's health in torrent tracker websites. Torrent trackers are websites which track and index torrents. There are a number of fantastic torrent trackers; however, I would highly recommend these: Mininova (www.mininova.org) The Pirate Bay (www.thepiratebay.org) You can go to one of the sites and just type in what you are looking for. You'll likely get several results, but you should choose the torrent with the highest number of seeders (indicated usually in a field labeled 'S'). Seeders are people who already have the complete file and are sharing the entire file (sources). The more the seeders, the faster your file will be downloaded. Most sites provide you with a health meter, which is a measure of seeders vs. peers. A healthy torrent is one which has more seeds (sources) than peers (downloaders). You should always try to use healthy torrents as you are likely to get fast downloads. After locating a healthy torrent, find the download link and download the torrent. The file is usually just a few kilobytes. Now double click it to open it with your torrent client - uTorrent. Your torrent client will ask you where you would like to save the files choose your location and click Ok. Now the file will start downloading. Normally, it will take a minute or two before the download has full speed. Once, it has been completely downloaded, press stop to stop sharing the file.
