So what is World of Warcraft, the MMORPG game that is outranks in popularity any online game on the internet by miles? This is a game that is vast and full of adventures but is hard to master and is why so many guides have been written to make it easier for novice and not so novice wow players to get ahead and level up fast. What this article sets out to achieve is to therefore give the low down of just some of those fair few guides that abound and which can indeed power level you through this game. If you are not aware of the meaning of power leveling, then this is easy to remedy. Basically by power leveling we want to gain as much experience points in the game as possible but in the shortest time possible. This can be done by doing those quests and kill those monsters that yield the most XP points when quests are completed, or monsters are killed. By doing a lot of trial and error when buying guides, scouring wow forums or searching ebay, I've come across some world of warcraft guides that do indeed guide the player to level 60 for the normal game, and 70 for the Burning Crusade expansion. How these guies are able to do this is by dissecting the parts of the game where levelling up is quicker and leaving out the parts that slow your experience points accumulation. Trialling in this way I know now for sure that these guides really do well what they set out to do and some do so remarkably well. Should you be wondering what a world of warcraft power leveling guide could do for you then let me take the case of Brian Kopp's famous 1-70 Alliance Guide. With this guide you get to download an ebook that is updated for life and has everything detailed step by step. In it you will find direction maps with every co-ordinate given, and an add on that you download and install in the game (perfectly safe and within the rules to do) that points you in the direction the Wow guide wants you to go. In no time you will reach your quest and then you can refer back to the guide which will link you to either the Thotbot or Allakhazam sites where a detailed explanation of how to best do the guide is included. This will make your life a million times easier and enable you to power level at warp speed Other guides use video footage to guide you through the places in the game where you need to go to power level yourself as fast as possible from the first level up until the 60th. Another famous guide using the video reference is Johana's Mancow's guide called Joana's Horde Leveling Guide. You might also have noticed that each guide has either a preference for either an alliance or a horde character. Other guides in world of warcraft deal in how to make gold in world of warcraft. Of these there are quite a few I found to be very useful. Lately Valkor's gold making guide has taken much of my time. With it, I may not yet be able to make 200g a day like it claims but I do make a big dent on that target which I confident I shall soon reach. There is no doubt that you will get a better sense of achievement if you progress through the game yourself but the game can really get very hard and frustrating at times and the use of these guides can really help making the game a bit more fun rather than leaving you languishing in utter frustration. Also don't forget that world of warcraft is a dynamic game that keeps releasing expansion packs so make sure that the guide you choose to buy give you updates for those after you buy them. The two I recommend do that but some other may not. So watch out for that when you purchase a wow leveling guide.
