By: Kelly Renaul

For everyone who has been a fan of Gossip Girl since the beginning, start getting excited about the DVD release of Gossip Girl the complete season 1. Many people would agree that this is a great and exciting show, so the arrival of Gossip Girl the complete season 1 is something that so many people are looking forward to. With the debut of Gossip Girl the complete season 1 fast approaching, I thought this would be a good time to reflect on some of our favorite episodes of the season. Here is a list of our top three favorites of Gossip Girl the complete season 1.

1. The Wild Brunch. This episode starts with a fancy brunch that Bart Bass is throwing and it also happens to be the day after the Kiss on the Lips party. We all remember that the party was drama filled with Chuck getting punched in the face and Serena surprising everyone with her arrival. So, when Chuck shows up with a black eye his father is less than pleased. In this episode, we also learn that Blair knows about Serena and Nate sleeping together last year and she plans to make life horrible for Serena as payback. The drama does not stop though as Serena shows up at the fundraiser brunch with Dan the outsider as her date.

2. Blair Waldorf Must Pie. This is the revealing episode when the characters, mainly Dan and Serena, find out that Lily and Rufus have a past. Dan blindly invites the van der Woodsens over for Thanksgiving with his family, but drama is sure to ensue. Meanwhile at the Waldorf Thanksgiving, Blair finds out that her father is not coming to NYC because her mother asked him not to and she reacts by reverting back to her eating disorder. Nate spends the holiday with his family, but the awkward meal quickly goes from bad to worse.

3. Much I Do About Nothing. This is the last episode of the season and it reminds us why we all tune it every Monday night. Blair lays down the law with the nasty Georgina and turns the tables on her manipulating. Serena finally decides to tell Dan the whole story about her past in hopes of working it out, but it may be too late. We are left on the cliff as Dan and Serena part ways, having no idea what will happen next season with our favorite couple.
