We trust them to teach our children properly, can we not trust them to become trained in the use of a firearm and effectively stave off a potential madman with a gun in the event of a school shooting?
Safe gun use is possible, especially amongst teachers and adults who are as responsible as teachers. Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight encourage all of America to realize that it's time to change our system to accommodate commonsense: arm and train our teachers, it is the only thing which will prevent more of the massacres.
