Are you a caffeine junkie like me? The smell of coffee brewing can really stimulate the senses. But most persons will start feeling the effects more after sipping because this is when the effects of coffee truly kick in.
What exactly are the effects of coffee? Studies have shown this can boost the individual's vigilance, improve concentration and performance. Inside you body, this signifies a heart rate increase, blood pressure and basal metabolic rate. It will also promote urine production and can help relax muscle tension. It is the reason why that a lot of us drink coffee while studying for an exam, to help waking up in the morning or while working during night shifts.
The main ingredient in coffee is caffeine. According to research, it is safe to have one or two cups every day. However, those who exceed this may experience the negative effects such as difficulty sleeping, headaches, irregular heartbeat, muscle tension and nausea. This may also lead to heartburn or ulcer, which is why experts also advise persons to drink moderately.
Coffee isn't good for women who are pregnant or patients who have heart disease and they should stay away from it because it could cause birth defects and other health problems.
But persons who drink coffee may also experience the same effects by consuming substances that contain caffeine. For example, chocolate, sodas or tea.
Coffee might not make the person do a foolish thing which is generally associated with the consumption of illegal substances or alcohol. But it can be habit forming. People who drink coffee regularly and all of a sudde stop might experience what is known as withdrawal effects that will fade away after a day or two when they are able to once again drink a cup of coffee.
It appears that certain diseases have been prevented by coffee. For instance, Java works as an anti-depressant, this is what I call good effects of coffee. The chances of developing Parkinson's disease in men is lessen by other types of coffee even if doctors aren't yet able to determine the cause of this disease.
Coffee is being consumed in almost every household. It can be bought from the store or brewed at home or in the office.
The effects of coffee has on someone can differ with another depending on how well the body is able to react to the caffeine so when the individual feels this is enough, it is time to stop rather than feeling the negative effects of drinking too much. However it is hard to beat a good cup of coffee in the morning. But since I want to better take care of my health I will try to drink a bit less coffee and start drinking some green tea during the day. Well like I said at least I will try.
