When asked to imagine a picture of a biker in your mind, you probably envision a person sitting on a motorcycle in a black leather jacket. Bikers and black leather jackets just seem to go hand in hand. Black leather jackets provide the best of both worlds for bikers. They get a very cool and fashionable look while at the same time protecting themselves from injury.
When you see groups of motorcyclists going down the highway, chances are that many of them will be wearing black leather jackets. Riding down the highway at 70 mph, exposed to the wind and outdoors, is a good way to be pelted with bugs and other road debris. Think of how the front grill on your car looks sometimes. Harley makes a line of leather jackets as do most other prominent companies that cater to the biking community. The only other thing that contends black leather jackets in association with bikers is Harley Davidson motorcycles. So you can imagine, black leather jackets made by Harley Davidson are quite sought after among both bikers and non bikers alike. As you can see, black leather jackets give a biker both deserved style and necessary protection.
