Aging - Don't Go Down Without a Fight

Reducing fine lines and wrinkles is a daily thought for both men and women. It may not be on your mind every second of the day, but the thought is there. Is there a miracle cure? Unfortunately, no. Are there skin care products out there that work? Absolutely YES.

Any chance you had, you'd go to the beach or to the lake... living worry free; it was heaven on earth! You looked so good with your deep, dark tan. If you couldn't go to the beach or to the lake, you spread out that king size sheet right in the front yard and slathered yourself with deep tanning oil. That tan you got sure made you feel and look good!

Maybe you weren't a water girl, but you were still so enamored with the way your skin looked when it was tan. So, you'd spend your time in the tanning beds or pool-side to get that golden color.

Well, that's what we thought.

As we get older, we feel as though we are clearing up the mess we made. Our skin is now offering us unevern color, fine lines, patches that look like our freckles have created their own cities on our skin... well, that's better than calling it an age spot! We sure don't want that! Coulnd't we just call it a sovenier from our best spring breaks?

Know we ask ourselves if it's too late to love our skin again; or are we doomed? Well, it's never too late to love your skin again! Your part in the damage cannot be repaired, but living life has its side-effects. Our skin starts to show that years are clicking away (without our permission, of course), and what we need now are products to help us repair that past damage and offer up a large helping of protection from what's coming.

It is so important to have a skin care product that actually contains beneficial ingredients. Equally important is to give your body what it needs (water, minerals, protein and carbs). Your overall health shows in your skin, so the right combination of these essentials can help improve your overall health and how your skin looks.

Scientists are aware that we can nourish our skin topically or internally; we cannot do one without the other. An unhealthy person can use the best skin care products in the world, following all the directions perfectly and see some improvement in their skin. But, if that same person chooses to nourish their bodies with 'good' foods, then their skin's appearance will improve so much more.

If you have troubled skin, you ned a supplement that supports the skin from the inside out with key ingredients like L-Lysine, zinc and vitamins A and B6. You should also drink plenty of water. Smokers should think about quitting.

Getting older is not an option for any of us... it just happens. However, as we get older, we get wiser. We know to put on at least an SPF8 sunscreen when we go outside, and to take vitamins and drink plenty of water. We know we can be beautiful in any shade.

We are encased in our largest organ, and if we want our skin to be healthy we have to have a healthy body. So if you want to change your skin from "dry" to "luminous", drink your water, eat your veggies and feed your skin with a daily helping of skin care products that are good for your skin and vitamins that work.
