Every guy has to hear these cold words at some point, "But we're friends!" You might have bought her lunch and dinner a couple times, but she just didn't recognize it, and now when you try to kiss her, she pushes you away. How could you have seen this coming? Here are a few ways to know in advance.
1) She invites you to shop for girlie things with her.
It's deceptive. You may think you're getting closer to her panties, by helping her shop for them, but truth be told, you'll never see the lingerie again after it goes into her shopping bag. You were the girlfriend she bought it with, while a real man will rip them off the next the Saturday night. If you're her boyfriend, it's fine, but if you haven't gotten anywhere with her yet, stay away from shopping trips for perfume, makeup, or underwear.
2) You're hearing about her dates.
As the wise Dawson Leery would say, you don't want to be the guy she runs to to tell about her boy adventures. Instead, you want to BE the boy adventure. If you're hearing about her dates, it means you're not one of them.
3) You've been hanging out for a few times and barely touching.
If you've spent more than seven total hours hanging out, and there's not and flirty, playful touching, it's probably past the point where you can begin getting touchy-feely with her. This is why you have to begin touching early.
4) She feels comfortable crying around you or telling you embarrassing secrets.
Women hate crying in front of guys they like because it is such a turnoff for a man to see that. If you are the shoulder, you are not the guy she imagines herslef with. Also, if she tells you about her health problems and messy life, and other things most guys wouldn't want to hear, why are you the one who gets to hear them?
5) She says "You're such a good friend."
This would be obvious to a lot of men, but unfortunately a lot of guys can think "Well, we're friends, but we're not JUST friends." Trust me, if a girl says you're a friend to your face, and especially a "good" friend, it's over.
6) When you two go out, she's deciding where and when.
Girls want a man in charge. While she can help make plans when you two have been dating a while, in the first few dates, it always has to be the man who decides what's going on. She'll end up going for a man who takes the lead. When a woman has to lead, it kills her attraction.
7) You've been acting like Daniel-San from The Karate Kid, ever since you've known her.
This movie is wildly entertaining, but some of the worst dating advice ever put on film. Watch the movie again. Daniel-San does get the girl (fictionally), but he acts like such a wuss and so indecisive that no woman in her right mind would see him as more than a friend. Watch how he's so hesitant to touch her, gets worried when her other friends come around, and never makes a definite move.
Avoid these traits, and you'll know far in advance whether a girl has romantic intentions with you or not. If she does see you as a friend, that's ok. Friends are fine. However, now you can nip these things in the bud for the future.
